Thousand Needles In Red – Self Titled

For Fans Of: The Butterfly Effect, Kill The Capitol.

The Butterfly Effects work load would be enough to satisfy the average musician. But for vocalist Clint Boge this assumption could not be further from the truth. He is back again this time with his new band, Thousand Needles In Red. Teaming up with Tristan Bouillaut (Kill The Capitol) his new partner in rock.

Anyone from a successful band starting a new band has expectations to live up to. Almost every fan out there will compare Thousand Needles In Red to The Butterfly Effect and Kill The Capitol.  That being said, with all the experience of Clint Boge and Tristan Bouillaut one thing is certain, you can expect this band to rock.

Thousand Needles In Red start off your listening journey with an intro that makes sure you will not be forgetting their name anytime soon. ‘Thousand Needles’ is the first song of many that will get your head banging and your fist pumping. Tristan Bouillaut has created some unforgettable and simple guitar riffs. Which in a time that has spawned complex bands such as Between The Buried And Me, hearing simplicity is very refreshing. ‘Enemy Inside’ is one of those songs that when hearing it for the first time, you will find yourself singing along by the time the second chorus comes around. Clint Boge delivers his usual high quality vocals. This time round he has thrown in some very aggressive vocals that are sure to make his fans happy. The last two songs on the EP, ‘Black Bird’ and ‘In Red’, give a look at the softer side of a Thousand Needles In Red. Their debut EP definitely makes the anticipation for their debut album high.

The partnership between Clint Boge and Tristan Bouillaut is off to a respectable and promising start. Fans of their previous work will not be let down with their latest creation. Thousand Needles In Red manage to capture and emit an infectious energy that will soon be a nationwide virus.
